Kos Locally Grown: a sustainable initiative.

What is Kos Locally Grown?

The initiative Kos Locally Grown was created by the students of the 2nd High School of Kos Island, in the context of the ERASMUS+ program, European Students for Sustainability 2021-2023.

The idea was to promote the consumption of local products, while exploring potential ways of action. A campaign was born, having two main axes: the creation of a logo that will accompany the packaging of local products so that they are visible to consumers and the creation of a website, which will inform consumers about the benefits of supporting local producers, including a list of local products.

The initial design of the website along with the logo belongs to the students of the 2nd High School of Kos Island who participate in the ERASMUS+ program, while the management and development of the website are under the management of the Agricultural Association of Kos, which wholeheartedly supported the project.

We hope that all visitors of Kos will  become part of a sustainable solution, by embracing this initiative and supporting local products.
