Kos International Airport Hippocrates (KGS): The recently renovated International airport of Kos, Hippocrates (KGS), is located in Antimachia and offers connectivity with a number of European countries on a daily basis from May to October. Αt the same time, Kos is connected with Athens up to three times a day, with flights lasting about 35’. A number of popular Greek destinations are also linked to Kos Island through the brand new airport, such as Thessaloniki, Rhodes and Heraklion with direct flights, but mostly during the spring and summer months. During the autumn and winter months, Kos Island is directly connected to Athens up to two times a day and to a few other Greek cities, like Thessaloniki or Heraklion, less often. 

The international airport of Kos is located about 23,5 kilometres away from Kos town and is a 30-35’ minute drive, using the district road of Kos - Kefalos.

Through the sea 

Kos main harbour (Mandraki): The main harbour of Kos is located in the city centre and offers daily connections to Athens (port of Piraeus) and other Greek destinations. The itineraries are enhanced during the spring and summer months and are often less frequent during the autumn and winter months. Furthermore, Kos  Ιsland is connected with neighbouring islands such as Rhodes, Symi, Leros, Kalymnos, Patmos, Leipsoi etc. daily via catamarans.

Kos marina

Kos is located in the heart of the Aegean, one of the most significant sailing destinations in Europe. Offering a total of 265 berths, Kos marina accommodates yachts ranging from 8 to 80 meters and is located in the centre of Kos Island. All six piers of Kos marina are easy to navigate, offer permanent moorings and provide useful utilities. A taxi ride from the airport tο Κos marina takes about half an hour.
