Mountain biking has gradually become a popular activity on the island and there are dozens of mountainous routes to follow, within easy reach from the island’s centre. The local community of mountain bikers has created and maintained a variety of trails, suitable for entry level and experienced bikers alike.

Cycling through dense pine tree forests among exotic peacocks and riding over bushy hills overlooking the Aegean, are experiences not to miss if mountain biking is your thing! The variety of trails guarantees loads of entertainment, even for hard-core mountain bikers. Forest trails lead to higher levels where you can enjoy the view of the nearby islands and the coastline of Turkey.

Mountain bikers can also cross through Mount Dikaios, visit one of the island's few mountainous villages, ride near flamingos and horses or run into a natural outdoor spa experience. Possibilities are endless in Kos, just like the island’s MTB trails!
