Kochilari beach

Found on the north side of Kefalos about 37 kilometres from Kos town, Kochilari houses one of the most popular wind & kite surf clubs around the island. The beach is organised, offering umbrellas and sun beds, as well as a free-to-use beach area. Enjoy a wonderful swim or take an enchanting coastal walk admiring the constantly moving sea foam.

Kochilari offers an exotic landscape with ​​rolling aquamarine waves and a huge span of white silky sand. The almost constant winds and very shallow emerald waters have created a hub for wind and kite surfers flying over waves. Visitors will have to walk a long way into the sea until the water gets deeper, which makes the beach ideal for families with children, too.
