Kefalos

Tripiti is one of Kos’ hidden gems located 47 kilometres from Kos town, in Kefalos. Reaching the beach itself can be a bit of a challenge, even by car, but the seascape is utterly rewarding, bringing about an exclusive feel. This sheltered cove is an oasis of relaxation providing visitors with at-first shallow and all-the-way marvellous turquoise waters, in this small stretch of soft white sand.

In this secluded setting, you won't be elbow-to-elbow with fellow beachgoers. There are a few available umbrellas and sunbeds for rent, a basic toilet and a free parking area but not any restaurant facilities, so go with your lunch packed and plenty of water. Other than that, there is a rustic property and plenty of shadeless space to spread out a towel over the soft white sand and sunbathe.

Title
Must do
There is a certain rocky formation to wander around, so why not take a photo or two under the characteristic curved rock that looks like a gate, found in the area?

Did you know?
If you stay long enough, you get front row sunset seats! Watch the sky turn orange, pink and purple, as the sun slowly sets right into the water.
