Alykes beach

Alykes beach is found right after Tigaki and offers a more untouched scenery. This sandy coastline features shallow, emerald waters near the salt lake of Tigaki called "Alykes" - hence the beach name! The waters are pretty warm and Pserimos island is seen right opposite.

A few facilities, like sunbeds, umbrellas with palm tree branches and showers are available. But usually, this area is mostly chosen for the ability to lay your towel onto the sand and enjoy home-brought refreshments and snacks, while gazing at the kitesurfers nearby. And if you're lucky enough, you may get to see the silhouettes of horses suddenly emerging and disappearing in the horizon.
