Once you arrive on the beach and lay comfortably onto your sun bed, you realise where the name of the beach came from! Paradise beach is one of the most popular on the island and sits right in the middle of Kefalos bay, approximately 35 kilometres from Kos town. A sandy turquoise coast with shallow waters that deepen pretty smoothly, after walking into the sea for at least 40 metres (sea level at half a metre).

Naturally, children love to play in the sand so Paradise beach attracts dozens of families. Offering convenient facilities, a large canteen-like restaurant and cafe bar as well as several water sports, the bustling beach is packed daily with hundreds of fellow beachgoers, who wish to enjoy its heavenly waters hassle-free.

Title
Must do
Explore the underwater world of Paradise beach and find the spot where hundreds of tiny bubbles sparkle into the sun-blessed sea.
Title
Did you know?
The bubbles emerge from the seabed and this is a natural phenomenon caused by the remains of an old volcano underneath the beach.
