As the motherland of Hippocrates, founding father of modern medicine and the Hippocratic oath, Kos is a common point of visit for thousands of doctors from around the world, wishing to walk into the footsteps of one of the greatest physicians in the history of humankind. The world-class Kos International Conference Centre (KICC), is located in Psalidi, on the east coast of the island of Kos, only 3km away from Kos town and 25km from the International Airport of Kos. One of the largest and most impressive in the Mediterranean, it constitutes the sole autonomous convention centre in Greece, presenting impeccable architecture, fine indoor decoration and high-end facilities. The modern atmosphere and excellent interior design grant comfort and prestige, offering a cordial conference experience. Kos International Convention Centre (KICC) is the largest multi-functional convention centre in the country, offering the latest in meeting technology. Apart from the KICC, most of Kos' hotels offer meeting rooms and conference halls, ideal to host any type of event.
