Nestled at a distance of 22 kilometres from Kos town, the coast of Mastichari offers both organised and remote areas to enjoy the crystalline waters of the Aegean sea. As a bustling resort known for its long sandy beaches, Mastichari is filled with busy beach bars, several sun beds and seaside restaurants.

Fine sand covers the shoreline, including possibly some gravel or shells, providing visitors with several beach options. Seaweed is often in your midst and wind is likely to be joining too, which is why the area is extremely popular among wind and kite surfers.
